BBL-ers at Van Wees Waalwijk: learning, growing and building the future

Rowan's choice of Van Wees Waalwijk was no accident. His father once worked for us and during a company BBQ Rowan was given a tour:
"There was a good atmosphere. I also looked at other companies, but Van Wees Waalwijk remained at the top of my list. You can do many different things here, you don't do the same thing every day. That variety is very nice."

Rowan is taking the 3-year All-round Employee Production Technology Construction course at Yonder. His dream? To take additional courses after completing his BBL training and eventually start his own business.

Mert inherited a love of engineering from home: his father is a mechanical engineer. After high school, he consciously chose a practical education and is now studying Technician Engineering at Yonder.
"I like the variety of work at Van Wees Waalwijk. You can learn a lot there and discover new things all the time."

Mert is also looking ahead: after completing his education, he wants to specialize further and eventually work as a self-employed all-round service technician, just like his father.

Tim Boons proves that a BBL trajectory at Van Wees Waalwijk opens doors. He studied Mechatronics level 3 and did an internship with us from the second year.
"I was allowed to accompany mechanics to companies, which I really enjoyed. The work is never the same and you can learn a lot here. As a BBL-er you get the chance to prove yourself and if that goes well, you will be offered a contract just like me."

Meanwhile, Tim is permanently working with us in mechanical engineering and also sees a future in service and maintenance.

With the arrival of Rowan and Mert we continue our tradition: educating, inspiring and guiding young professionals to a golden future. Because at Van Wees Waalwijk it is not only about learning a trade, but also about sharing passion, pride and craftsmanship.
