Automating such a process brings several benefits:

• The packing process is many times faster. This allows the thermoforming machine to run 10% faster.
• Employees can be assigned to more valuable tasks. In this example, employees in the new situation are more operators instead of packers, which enhances their work pride.

With a solution-oriented view, we worked together to find the best solution for the company. While a cobot was initially the most desired solution, this turned out not to be sufficient for this case. Because an industrial robot can work very quickly and is robust, this was ultimately chosen.

We are proud to have been able to implement this custom solution as well. Because of this great partnership, Desch Plantpak can pack one million plastic flower pots per day. Without any hands involved.
