Van Wees Waalwijk in Regio Business: Specialized machine building starts with understanding the process

Van Wees Waalwijk

The latest issue of Regio Business features an article about our approach to custom machine building. For the article, we visited one of our customers: Saint-Gobain Cultilene. Together with Léon Kennis of Saint-Gobain Cultilene, Willem van Gestel and Sjors van Haaren explain how a custom automation solution is developed: from the initial inquiry and preliminary research to a machine that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

The article shows that, for us, custom machine building doesn’t start with the machine itself, but with understanding the production process. By taking a step back with the customer, thinking critically alongside them, and bringing all disciplines together under one roof, we develop solutions that contribute to a more efficient, smarter, and future-proof production process.

We would like to thank Saint-Gobain Cultilene for their warm welcome and their candid account of our collaboration.
